Thanks for volunteering to work with Doug, Jeff.  Congratulations on your new position as chapter president.

I'm at SAA this week.  The Business Archives section used Chatter to allow  remote participants and presenters to take part in the colloquium today. A few bumps but worked very well and you can't beat the price...free.  Check it out at https://www.chatter.com

Jeffrey, congratulations and best wishes for your presidency.  If you want something done ask a busy person.  They know how to manage their time.  Good to have a Geek on the team.

Just also posted this to our SharePoint site; not sure if this was better there or here.

I can help out Doug on "Infrastructure/Technology."  Obviously, technology really ties into "Social," and technology is an area I enjoy and excel in, so, let me know what I can do.  Being a new and first time ARMA Chapter President, my plate is pretty full.  But, I'll find a way to make some time appear.

Hi George,  Sorry to have missed the Sustainable Business Forum event. I know both of us are planning to attend the AIIM social media event on September 8.  For everyone else, if you're reading this and don't know about it, read more at http://www.aiim.org/events/soe-conference

We want to share with you an exciting event being hosted next week by our sister site, the Sustainable Business Forum, exploring the challenges of balancing corporate transparency with security through a sustainable social media strategy, and featuring our good friend Brian Solis, among other luminaries. We hope you'll join us: http://bit.ly/ovZtum

Security and Transparency:
How Social Media are Transforming Business
Live Webinar August 16, 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT

In a transparent, globalized economy, there is increasingly no such thing as private behavior. For better or worse, nearly everything that happens inside companies can be forwarded, tweeted, or blogged about. In some ways this is a good thing: social media can help companies by allowing them to assess consumer sentiment more accurately and build stronger, more direct relationships with their customers. But employees can misuse social media, for example to leak confidential material. Consumers and competitors can also use social media to attack a company’s reputation.

So how can companies craft sustainable social media strategies? This webinar will answer this question by presenting arguments and case studies from the leading minds in the social media revolution.

This live, on-line discussion will feature:

Brian Solis, the author of Engage!, and principal at Altimeter Group.

Gary Spangler, Corporate eMarketing Manager at DuPont

Regina Clark, Managing Director of CyberFactors
